A well hidden beautiful retreat with spectacular views and magnificent sunsets. The terrace is for house guests only, complete with charcoal BBQ, outdoor dining table and box of outdoor games to enjoy.
We have some beautiful countryside walks around the village, with walking/hiking routes to Shanklin, Godshill, Whitwell & Ventnor. We are a short drive to Shanklin, Ventnor & Sandown, just a few of the fabulous island beaches.
We are ideally located if attending weddings at nearby Appuldurcombe House and within walking distance too.
Clevelands is located on the south side of the island, know as the 'Dark Side'. We have superb starry night skies on clear nights, perfect for star gazing due to limited light pollution. See if you can find a local ale, 'The Dark Side'.

Absolutely stunning. The bedrooms were lovely and big, the house was very homely and practical. Gorgeous views, we would definitely stay there again. The communication was fantastic, helped us with the ferry booking, they couldn’t have make it easier.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this house! The home is equipped with all the necessary amenities, including modern appliances, and it was warm and incredibly comfortable. The spacious rooms made our stay even more enjoyable, providing plenty of space to relax. The location is perfect—close to all the major attractions, which made exploring the area so convenient. Maria was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to assist and ensure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality truly made us feel at home. Home truths
Access to our beautiful property is down an unmade country lane, this adds to the locations rustic charm however please drive slow and carefully and keep an eye out for badgers, foxes and potholes!
We have other holiday properties onsite, so the drive and lawn are shared with other guests and our chickens too!
The dining room has no window, so is decorated with artwork and fun lighting. It can seat 10 guests.

Security depositA £400 hold on a credit or debit card is required before your arrival. The funds will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Thank you for not smokingThis is a smoke-free home. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the full security deposit and my be subject to a fine.

Only Booked Guests Onsite:
No additional guests are allowed onsite, this includes day visitors. Please do not invite friends/family to the house if they are not included in your booking.
Cleanliness:
Please leave the house in the condition you found it. Wash dishes, wipe kitchen surfaces, dispose of rubbish in the provided bins, and tidy up before departure. Please put used nappies/diapers in nappy sacks (provided) do not put them directly unwrapped in the wheelie bins.
Damages:
Accidents happen! Please let us know about any damages or breakages immediately. Guests may be responsible for replacement costs that are not general wear & tear. We don't worry about the odd crockery/glassware breakage. However do let us know, so we can try to replace or fix for you as well as future guests.
Use of Outdoor Areas:
Enjoy the terrace, BBQ (charcoal provided), and outdoor games, but please supervise children and pets at all times, especially if around the chickens.
Parking:
On-site parking is available for up to 3 cars. Please park considerately, so no one gets blocked in.
Internet & SMART TV.
High-speed Wi-Fi is provided for your convenience. Please avoid illegal downloads or streaming content that violates copyright laws. Sign out of your accounts before check out.
Safety:
Ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving the property. Do not tamper with smoke detectors or other safety equipment.
Electric Vehicles:: No charging facilities; do not use domestic sockets.
Drainage System:
Please only flush toilet paper. No sanitary products, 'flushable' wipes, or foreign objects to avoid blockages. We are on a Victorian drainage system so remember the 3 P's (paper, poo and pee only).
